Immigration visa routes

Post-Brexit policy by the Home Office is to bring and open up the market for talented individuals and businesses. The benefits are simple, to create a market where migrants can help shape ideas. The vision of modern Britain In doing so, the Home Office intends to create an effective and secure border system.

At the same time, the UK opens the door to stimulate growth and helps to achieve its vision of an emerging and stable economy. Through this, the UK intends to build a strong working market.

We summarise the following immigration categories. You can read more information about those visa categories by choosing the categories.

Global Business Mobility Visas

The visa category under global business mobility brings 5 visa routes that a business can choose to apply for. It allows international businesses to share resources by bringing to the UK specialist workers as well as graduate trainees or as a service supplier.

It further permits a business to allow a migrant to enter the UK under the secondment worker visa route.

Expansion Visa

This replaces the sole representative of an international business and the visa category permits businesses to set up a UK branch. To apply for the visa, a migrant must meet the 60 points requirements which are set out in a number of categories, which includes sponsorship, work requirements, skill level, salary and meeting financial requirements.

High Potential Individual (HPI) Visa

It's one of the most interesting and valuable visa categories created. The visa allows talented individuals the opportunity to come to the UK and build exciting and innovative businesses. Whilst points are an essential part of the scoring, the idea of this visa is to permit those who have studied at recognisable institutions to come and work in the UK. The visa leads to settlement after a period of residency in the UK.

Scale-up Visa

This new fast-tracked visa is to allow businesses to sponsor migrants to the UK. After a period of 6 months working for the business that had sponsored the visa, the migrant can switch and work for any employer. The visa leads to settlement.

Business plan

In some of the visa applications, there are requirements for you to submit a comprehensive business plan to support the application. In doing so, there are 4 types of business plans that our Project Team can help you and your business.

The principle behind a business plan is to create a useful but important guide on how you intend to progress in your business.
