If your application is refused, then you may have the right to appeal on the decision. Appeal process is only available to those applying from inside the United Kingdom. The Home Office must provide a detailed written refusal letter to explain why your application was refused and what you must do now.

If your application has been refused from outside the United Kingdom (known as 'entry clearance'), you have a right to an administrative review.

You must request a review of the refusal within 28 calendar days of the date the refusal notice was issued.

You can only ask for one administrative review for each application that we refuse. You should not send any additional documents with your request for a review.
