To be eligible as an Investor, you must meet the immigration rules at paragraphs 245 O-U of part 6a and Appendix A, of the Immigration Rules Hc395. The category is also part of the point based assessment and you must score 75 points for access to £1,000,000 that is disposable and in a financial institution, or £2,000,000 in personal assets and £1,000,000 in a loan, which are known as attributes.

Please note as with all point based category, the points differ when you make an initial application or your applying under the extension stage. You must ensure that you have met all the requirements, able to provide the supporting documents which must be original.

If the application is refused, then the Home Office will not refund your fee. If you are in the United Kingdom now under a different immigration category, there are limited categories which allow you to switch into this category. Please read the guidelines set out.
