Those making an application for a Tier 1 Entrepreneur outside the United Kingdom, must meet the same requirements, however there is a difference in calculation for the maintenance funds. There is a requirement of a higher maintenance funds required.

To make an application, you must do so with your local visa services centre. There are different processes and procedures in placed in different countries, please read our UK Visa page for further information.

All relevant and supporting documents must be supplied. If you are given entry clearance as a entrepreneur from outside of the United Kingdom, you will be able to live and work in the United Kingdom for a maximum period of three years. When the end of this period approaches you will need to apply to extend your stay as an entrepreneur.
